Hi, I'm Warren, a babyboomer (born 1946) who has given up the 9 to 5 life. I once had a job with some responsibility. Although I loved the work, I often found the pressures (self imposed maybe?) frustrating. My favorite threat was "I am going out this weekend and buy a Winnebago and leave this job to someone more deserving of the irritations". My fondest dream was of being a carefree itinerant. I have realized that dream. My wife (Sharon) and I are now full time RVers (since May 2003). That is, we sold our house and belongings, bought a fifth wheel travel trailer (and a diesel pick-up truck to pull it). Now we go where we please and our motto is "Home is where you park it."
This blog will contain a running account of our travels.
UPDATE 2011: We bought a place in Mesa, AZ in January of 2011. We now summer in Indiana and winter in Arizona, with occasional trips out and around. UPDATE 2016: Sharon and I separated in 10/2015 and divorced effective 01/01/2016.
It was hard to pick the pictures for the blog out of the 200 I took, but here are my choices. There was one more, female chimpanzee, but she was topless, and well…….stacked. I didn’t want such a picture to cause my blog to be rated “R” and thereby have a restricted readership. So, I kept her picture for my personal enjoyment, leaving you all to use your imaginations.
These pictures don’t require a story, so you get to look at them free of my normal line of chatter. Enjoy……
